2011 Horoscope: Love and Career

Year 2011 Romantic

As 2011 kicks off, you continue to benefit from the long-term effects of Venus in Scorpio in your relationship sector (since September 2009). But by early January, Venus (your planetary ruler) moves on to your sector of transformation, bringing deep relationship issues home to roost. You'll have a chance to incorporate each and every powerful lesson from 2009 into the core of your being prepared for the next level of intimacy. Enough is enough, Taurus -- you're ready for the real McCoy when it comes to love. Haven't you settled enough, taking care of everyone else's needs without getting in touch with what it is to love and be loved in return?
By the time your birthday rolls around, Venus will have blissfully entered her home turf in Taurus, assuring that you'll feel at your beautiful best. This also bodes wonderfully for attracting love and connection in the best of all possible ways. Make the most of late April and early May (your strongest Venus period) to get your beauty rituals on. When you look good, you feel irresistible so it's no wonder you are suddenly a date magnet this spring. When Venus enters your romance and pleasure sector in August, you'll have no problem putting work on the back burner in favor of a little romantic raucous. In October, Venus enters your partnership sector to seal the deal on your summer flirtations. Commitment and compromise are absolutely necessary if true love is what you seek.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Year 2011 Career
Any lingering clouds obscuring your professional vision will pass as Neptune leaves your career sector in 2011 in April. This is a momentous shift considering Neptune has worked to glamorize, spiritualize and at other times blur your professional aims since 1998. Neptune will retrograde back to unleash one last floodgate in August but the clarity gained over the spring and summer will support you through the imminent changes over the course of the year in preparation for more and more of your bigger dreams coming true between now and 2012. Your confidence in your talents and ability to make money is tip-top. Saturn remains in your work sector for another year continuing to deliver the teachings on what it means to value yourself and take yourself and your talents more seriously. No more settling for short shrift, Taurus.
A little bravado goes a long way in January and February with Mars firing up your career sector. Don't be afraid to push for what you really want. The squeaky Bull gets the promotion, so declare your intentions loudly and clearly while the opportunities are peaking. You have no problem working yourself to the bone to help others realize their vision, but now it's time to put that same effort into making your own dreams come true. Saying no to others is the first step towards finally saying yes to yourself. Your best moneymaking opportunities arrive just in time for your birthday. Working hard in June and July garners major pay-offs for a decadent vacation in August.
Wow most of that looks good!!
thought that this pic would sum it up haha. x
Day 21- A Recipe
Thought I would choose a holiday treat to get into the spirit :)
Swedish Christmas Cookies *Food Network*
Ingredients:
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons ground cardamom
  • 1/4 teaspoon fine salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, (2 sticks), at room temperature
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1 large egg, room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon finely grated lemon zest
  • Colored sanding sugars or chopped toasted pecans
Directions
Whisk the flour, cardamom, and salt in a bowl.
Put the butter and confectioners' sugar in a food processor, and process until smooth. Pulse in the egg, vanilla, and lemon zest until combined. Add the flour mixture and process to make a soft buttery dough. Divide dough in half onto 2 (12-inch long) sheets of plastic wrap, using the plastic, shape into rough logs. Refrigerate the dough logs for 30 minutes until just firm enough to shape into uniform logs, 8-inches long by 2-inches in diameter. Refrigerate until firm, at least 2 hours or overnight.
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
Scatter either the sanding sugars or toasted nuts on a work surface and roll the logs until completely coated. Cut into 1/4-inch thick cookies and space about 1 inch apart on parchment-lined baking sheets. Bake until golden around the edges, about 20 to 25 minutes. Cool cookies on the pan on wire racks. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
I will have to make things this week after work one night! x
Day 18- A Favorite Memory
Where to start?!?
I have sooo many favorite memories.. I'm a gonna pick one from the eurotrip :)
Haha I love this photo. We just arrived in Edinburgh, Scottland, It was absolutely windy (as you can see haha.) This weekend was so fun. We got a hostel for 14 of us. Hours after this moment, I got lost from the group of the pub crawl. Looking back now, it's hilarious but then I was soo scared. I think I was talking to a fella from Paris and I lost track of the group. I had no clue where they went! Lucky, I found them and got some pizza! The rest of the weekend was filled with shopping and even a ghost tour. I almost peed my pants and scared the crap out of my roommate! haha This weekend was one of my many fav weekends abroad.
Wish me luck, off to play BINGO tonight with friends. Hope I win that 500 ;) x
Day 17- Piece of Art
Hey loves!
I have to put of a piece of art from Europe or Paris! I wanted to put up of a piece of art that is not really recognized. I took this picture in the Louve in Paris. It was really cool to see other artist paint repilcas. I thought they did a great job on this one.
This was really cool to see when I was there. Honestly, this was a lot cooler than the buzz of the Mona Lisa.
Is it Christmas yet??? x
Day 16- A Song That Makes Me Cry
There are many songs that make me cry. I'm kind of a sap. haha
If I could choose one, I would pick: "Breathe" by Taylor Swift ft. Colbie Calliat
It's a really sad break up song but it help me get through that break up over a year ago. I can still listen to it and shead a tear.
Here is the song...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PnXrfksTjZ8
This is my fav part of the song:
Never wanted this, never want to see you hurt
Every little bump in the road I tried to swerve
People are people and sometimes it doesn't work out
Nothing we say is gonna save us from the fall out
Love will always be a part of life and something that we will always want and need. It's funny how someones heart breaks, they write a song about it and it becomes your favorite song. It's one thing that everyone can relate to. Songs can help us get through the many pages of our lives. This song is one of them.
Stay warm today friends! x
Day 6- My Favortie Poem
This one is EASY!
"Footprints in the Sand" is my fav poem...
Footprints in the Sand Poem
Last night I had a dream. I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Across the sky flashed scenes from my life. For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand: one belonged to me, the other to the Lord.
After the last scene of my life flashed before me, I looked back at the footprints in the sand. I noticed that at many times along the path of my life, especially at the very lowest and saddest times, there was only one set of footprints.
This really troubled me, so I asked the Lord about it.  “Lord, you said once I decided to follow you, You’d walk with me all the way. But I noticed that during the saddest and most troublesome times of my life, there was only one set of footprints. I don’t understand why, when I needed You the most, You would leave me.”
The Lord replied, “My son, my precious child, I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of suffering, when you could see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you.”
Have a great night loves! x
Day 5- My Favorite Quote
Sorry friends I did'nt post this yesterday...
My fav quote would have to be.. "If its mean't to be, it will find it's way"
others I like...
"Happiness is a way of travel not a desination"
People don't remember what you said or did but they remember how you made them feel
"Let your light SHINE"
"Everyone is a star, and deserves to SHINE ♥ Marilyn Monroe
"Give a girl the right shoes, and she can conquer the World"~ M. Moroe
Day 4- My Favorite Book
Hey there December!
wow time flies. soon enough it will be Christmas :)
As most of you know, there was a movie made from this book. But the book is SO MUCH better than the movie. It is a really funny book with love situations which most of that was left out from the movie. Go to target and BUY IT! It also helps girls realize that some boys are just not the one for you.
Have a good one all! x
